We have successfully completed the pilot part of the UPre Women programme and we have created a publication full of findings, experiences and recommendations that we have gained during our year-long work with women in Dobšiná and Veľký Krtíš.
This practical publication captures our approaches to empowering Roma women (one of the most disadvantaged groups of people living in Slovakia). Our work and support lead them to gain employment and, thanks to income and acquired knowledge, to change their lives for the better and break free from generational poverty. To achieve this goal, it is essential to work with women comprehensively and broaden their horizons in various topics.
