We invite you to the opening online conference of the UPre Women – Capacity building and employability programme for women from the marginalized Roma communities: How to make the labour market accessible to women from marginalised Roma communities?

Why are up to 70% of Roma women unemployed and how to make the labor market accessible to them?

The conference will focus on the status and strength of women and increasing the employability of women from marginalized Roma communities in Slovakia. It will present the results of our research study on the position of women in Dobšina and Veľký Krtíš, as well as the “paths” of Roma women who have succeeded in the labor market.

Organizations from Latvia and India will also share their experience in connecting marginalized women to the labor market.
