The UPre educational program for women is entering a new phase. Thanks to support from the European Union under the Slovakia Program, one hundred Roma women from marginalized communities will have the opportunity to develop the skills needed not only for the job market but also for a better quality of life. The program will thus be expanded to other locations, with Krivany being the first.<\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We are implementing the project titled UPre Women: Developing the Skills of Roma Women for the Labor Market <\/strong>from September 2025 to August 2027. The goal is to support 100 Roma women with low levels of education in developing the basic and practical skills they need to find and subsequently retain a job. <\/span><\/p>

The first 20 women will participate in the village of Krivany, with additional groups joining gradually in other locations. In total, there will be five groups, each with a capacity of 20 participants. We expect at least 40 women to successfully complete the program.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The training program consists of two phases:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Development of educational materials and selection of sites (September 2025 \u2013 February 2026)<\/li>
  • Implementation of educational activities in communities (March 2026 \u2013 August 2027)<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    The curriculum will be expanded to include reading, math, and digital literacy; at the start of the project, we will develop a methodology that will serve as a foundation for future operations. <\/span><\/p>

    The project is funded by the European Union under the Slovakia program<\/strong> in the amount of \u20ac293,423.20<\/strong>, with the aim of supporting Roma women with low levels of education so that they can acquire and develop the skills needed for the labor market.<\/p>

    At the same time, it will help change the social stereotypes these women face, improve the quality of their lives and those of their entire families, and enable them to become strong female role models in their communities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
